USING THE WEB SITE GONIDOU.GR INDICATES YOUR AGREEMENT TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
  • Agreement for the Use of the Web Site
    Gonidou.gr is the online shop of the company Maria A. Gonidou which has its operating base in Nafplio, Greece under the commercial name Agnythes (VAT No. 024201688, Registered in Nafplio, Greece). The online shop is operating at the web address www.gonidou.gr under the terms and conditions stated below. Please read them carefully, as using the gonidou.gr shop indicates your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you disagree with any or all of the terms and conditions, do not register or use the gonidou.gr site. This Agreement constitutes the entire and only agreement between us and you.
  • Amendments
    We may change or update these Terms and Conditions, without specific notice to you. The latest agreement will be posted on the site. Customers are encouraged to consult the Terms and Conditions prior to each use.
  • Copyright
    Reproducing in any way the entire web site or part of it (organisation, design, photographs, documents etc.) is strictly prohibited. The viewing, printing or downloading of any content, graphic, form or document from the site grants you only a limited, non-exclusive license for use solely by you for your own personal use and not for republication, distribution, assignment, sublicense, sale, preparation of derivative works or any other way of commercial use.
  • Fraud
    By becoming a member, you confirm that the information provided to us is true and that you agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions of use of this site. Please note that your membership can be cancelled without notice if it is determined that false or misleading information has been provided; the Terms and Conditions of use have been violated; or other abuses have occurred as determined by gonidou.gr in its sole discretion. If membership has been revoked, gonidou.gr reserves the right to refuse application or readmission to the membership program.
  • Editing, Deleting and Modification
    We reserve the right in our sole discretion to edit or delete any documents, information or other content appearing on the site, including this Agreement, without further notice to users of the site.
  • Limited Liability
    Gonidou.gr does not guarantee the availability of products, but guarantees to contact you soon after your order has been placed and make you aware if a product is not available. At the same time, we cover ourselves about the delivery time when circumstances are beyond our control (i.e. bad weather, strikes). Gonidou.gr does not take responsibility about any damage, direct or indirect, that may arise from not delivering your order. We will not be liable to you for any damages of any kind that may result from use of or inability to use our site, under any circumstances, including negligence. The contents of the site gonidou.gr are provided “as they are” without any express or implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The administrators of gonidou.gr do not guarantee that the services, the content and the products will be offered without break and without mistakes. Furthermore, they do not guarantee that our website or any affiliated website or the web server will be offered to you without viruses or other damaging programmes. The cost of possible repairs will be undertaken in total by the customer.
  • Nontransferability
    Your right to use the site is not transferable. Any password or right given to you to obtain information or documents is not transferable and may only be used by you.
  • Usage of Information
    We reserve the right, and you authorize us, to the use and assignment of all information regarding site uses by you and all information provided by you in any manner consistent with our Privacy Policy.
  • Privacy Policy
    Our Privacy Policy, as it may change from time to time, is a part of this Agreement.
  • Third-Party Services
    Our site may contain links which allow access to or advertise third-party Merchant sites from which you may purchase or otherwise obtain certain goods or services. You understand that we do not operate or control the products or services offered by Merchants. Merchants are responsible for all aspects of order processing, fulfillment, billing and customer service. We are not a party to the transactions entered into between you and Merchants. Merchants’ sites are governed by their own terms and conditions. You agree that use of such merchants is at your sole risk and is without warranties of any kind by us.
  • Payments
    You represent and warrant that if you are purchasing something from us or from our Merchants that (i) any credit card information you supply is true, correct and complete, (ii) charges incurred by you will be honored by your credit card company, and (iii) you will pay the charges incurred by you at the posted prices, including any shipping fees and applicable taxes.
  • Submissions
    All suggestions, ideas, notes, concepts and other information you may from time to time send to us (collectively, "Submissions") shall be deemed and shall remain our sole property and shall not be subject to any obligation of confidence on our part, and shall be entitled to unrestricted use of the Submissions for any purpose, without compensation to the provider of the Submissions.
  • Force Majeure
    If for reasons beyond our control (i.e. bad weather, strikes) we are unable to deliver your products in the given timeframe, we shall contact you by e-mail, so you can let us know whether or not you wish us to complete your order under the given circumstances.
  • Products
    All our products are hand made, using a Greek hand-operated loom, traditional weaving techniques, quality materials and current aesthetics. Due to the hand made nature of our products, sometimes there are slight deviations to their sizes. The prices listed in this catalogue are final retail prices, they include 19% VAT and concern the ready-made products. Gonidou.gr has the right to change the prices without prior notice. Customers pay the price of the products at the time and day that the order was placed.
  • Product Availability
    In case some of the products you ordered are not available, gonidou.gr will contact you by e-mail or by phone to let you know the forecast date your products will be available or to suggest an alternative product to you. If you believe that the lead time is too long, and you are not interested in any of the alternative products, you have the right to cancel that product from your order and get a refund.
  • Return Policy
    Gonidou.gr gives you the right to return the products you bought, in the same condition they were when you received them, in a secure package along with the sales receipt, within 10 working days from the date you received them. In this case, you will have to incur the cost of returning the products, as well as the initial cost of delivering the products to you. The total value of the products you bought will be returned to you in the same way that the initial payment was made, for example if you had paid by credit card, the cost of the products will be credited back to your card. We shall return your money within 10 working days from the date we shall receive the goods.
    If you wish to return the products you bought, you’ll have to inform us by e-mail on contact@gonidou.gr. The return address is:

    You have to return the products either by registered parcel or by private courier, as crediting will not be possible if the parcel gets lost.
    Products are being sent at customers’ risk. We suggest you choose registered delivery to enable us to find your parcel in case of loss at the post.
    In case you are sent the incorrect products, please inform us by e-mailing us at contact@gonidou.gr and return the incorrect products back to us along with the receipt. We shall credit back to you the cost of returns and shall send you the correct products without any further cost incurred by you.
  • Verifying Members' Address
    Gonidou.gr reserves the right to contact a Member via email to verify the accuracy of account information (including the Member's correct name and address) which is needed to provide the Member with the information he or she requested from gonidou.gr.
  • Gonidou.gr Applicable Law
    You agree that all actions or proceedings arising directly or indirectly out of this agreement, or use of this site, or any products or services obtained by you through such use, shall be legislated in the court of Greece. You are expressly submitting and consenting in advance to such jurisdiction in any action or proceeding in any of such courts, and are waiving any claim that Nafplio, Greece, is an inconvenient forum. This site is created and controlled by Maria A. Gonidou, in Nafplio, Greece (VAT No. 024201688). As such, the laws of Greece will govern the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement and elsewhere throughout the site, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of laws.
